Aventrix LLC ("Aventrix") operates the Aventrix website. It is Aventrix’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.
Like most website operators, Aventrix collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, location information, and the date and time of each visitor request. Aventrix's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Aventrix's visitors use its website. From time to time, Aventrix may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Aventrix also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users posting content on the Aventrix website. Aventrix only discloses logged in user and poster IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
Certain visitors to the Aventrix website choose to interact with Aventrix in ways that require Aventrix to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Aventrix gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account to provide a name, email address, and birthday. In each case, Aventrix collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Aventrix. Aventrix does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
Aventrix may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website. For instance, Aventrix may monitor the most popular activities on the Aventrix website. Aventrix may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Aventrix does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Aventrix may automatically collect your location information when you use our services. We use a variety of technologies to determine location, such as the location services provided by your operating system or browser and sensor data from your device which may include, for example, geolocation, beacon based location, and GPS location information. Location information is used to improve the content of our services. For example, we customize the content you see based on your location.
Aventrix will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, and third parties, as described above, Aventrix reserves the right to access, read, preserve, and release your potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Aventrix believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aventrix, our employees, our users, third parties, or the public at large. If you are a registered user of Aventrix, Aventrix may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Aventrix and our products. We primarily use our blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Aventrix takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Users may delete their Aventrix account by clicking a link at the bottom of the Privacy Settings page. When you delete your account your profile, pictures, personal settings, lists, faves, and personalized recommendations will be permanently removed from the website and deleted from Aventrix's servers. Due to the distributed nature of Aventrix's infrastructure, deletion of your account's information may not be immediate.
After deleting your Aventrix account or part of the information within, copies of that information may remain viewable elsewhere, to the extent it has been shared with others, was distributed pursuant to your privacy settings, or it was copied or stored by other users. For example, messages sent to other users may remain in the recipient's inbox after the sender deletes their account.
